zedas®asset - Technical Plant Management
We have been focussing on servicing and technical plant management since 1998. Linked infrastructure networks, complex industrial plant and vehicle fleets, whether stationed centrally or dispersed - our comprehensive know-how allows our customers to move to load- and status-oriented servicing in a series of predefined project steps. To do so, we rely on rule-based initiation of effective actions.
PC-Soft offers, with zedas®asset, a software solution for state-oriented servicing and condition monitoring of durable plants. It is possible to automatically supervise physical assets (plants and machinery) from one or several control centers worldwide via tele-diagnosis. The software comprises of an automatic alarm and monitoring system for critical plant situations. At an early failure status, prior to the likely event of failures, zedas®asset uses an alarm system to mark possible weak points and suggests the optimal maintenance steps. So the customers can use strategies like ‘condition-based maintenance’ to improve production reliability, availability and work efficiency.
zedas®asset, our standard software for technical plant management, is compatible with existing ERP solutions and offers an optimum extension for each department. The system contains the following basic functions:

A lowering of corrective servicing, and therefore an improvement in plant performance, is achieved through status- and load-oriented servicing; unplanned downtimes are reduced. This increases the efficacy of the entire process.
- Increased system efficiency
In the ALM system, lifecycle data recorded by zedas® gives a solid basis on which to plan company strategies. At the same time, zedas® provides the software tools necessary to implement the company strategy in the process levels and steps. It also possesses powerful reporting that allows monitoring of the effect of the operational measures that have been taken. The required communication with existing company software (e.g. ERP system) is ensured via data interfaces and seamless system integration.
